Meyer began his research into perceptual/spatial experiences in , starting with the fleeting metaphoric aspects of clouds and views from airplane windows. The works “Papierperspektive”, (“Paper Perspectives”) present multiple points of view and abstractions of seeing. Nanne Meyer has been creating yearbooks since  They are her archive. They document her evolving drawing style, reflect on the day, and provide key drawings that will be used to develop her next series of work. There are 24 books totaling approximately.  drawings have been produced. Yearbook 16 (September to March ) was published in facsimile with the support of Kunstfonds Bonn (Gimlet Verlag Koln).
