IX Faces Pictures Pvt Ltd is the entrepreneurial venture of Chetan R Motiwalla, a producer with 16 years of experience in Bollywood. Mr. Motiwalla, who earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mumbai, has previously worked with well-known figures, such as Karan Johar and Late Yash Johar of Dharma Productions; Shah Rukh Khan, one of Bollywood's most popular actor; Late M.F. Husain, the legendary artist and filmmaker; Santosh Sivan, among India's most gifted cinematographers; and A. R. Rahman, the Oscar-winning music composer. Mr. Motiwalla launched IX Faces Pictures in 2007 with a strong belief in using cinema as a medium to entertain, and brings a wealth of filmmaking experience to the company. In 2007-08, Mr. Motiwalla co-produced "Welcome to Sajjanpur," a film by renowned director Shyam Benegal. Critics hailed "Welcome to Sajjanpur," a satire set in rural India, as a beautiful, moving and complete movie experience. With actors Shreyas Talpade and Amrita Rao in lead roles, the film went on to become a success at the box office and won awards as well as critical acclaim.

Currently Mr. Motiwalla is the Executive Producer on Any Body Can Dance 2 which is the sequel to ABCD India's first Dance film and is being line produced by IX Faces Pictures Pvt. Ltd for Disney, India.
